History Of Corinth
During the 8th and 7th centuries, the Bacchaid family of noble ruled Corinth, but was overthrown by Cypselus, who was followed by his son periander. Periander ruled the city as tyrant from about 657 to 550 BC. Periander also ease the transit of ships, by building a stone roadway between them called Lecaeum road.
After an earthquake Corinth was moved in 1558 from the site of ancient Corinth to its present position, where it was rebuilt after another earthquake in 192, followed by a great fire in 1933.

In the afternoon, go to wresting class. Men are required to look for a job to raised there family. They will be looking for jobs like: farmer, fisherman, soldier, teacher, government worker, and craftsman. Men could only be full citizens. they also live a better life than women

Corinth's government switched from a tyranny to monarchy to an oligarchy. Corinth was controlled by a well - ruling tyrant named Cypselus, who helped Corinth gain reputation as a trade and cultural center. After Cypselus died, his son Periander took over Corinth.
